An out-of-state court may inform the BMV of an outstanding traffic ticket. The resulting suspension will be indefinite until the person takes care of the out-of-state ticket, pays a $30.00 reinstatement fee to the Ohio BMV and gets the out-of-state court to send a copy of the proper documentation to the Ohio BMV.
