Court Suspension

Your license may be suspended by the municipal court hearing the case. Making matters more confusing is that the court may order suspensions of different lengths. Some courts routinely suspend licenses and others are more lenient. If you are lucky enough to receive a court suspension, you must serve the length of the suspension, pay a $30.00 fee to the BMV. The good news is that the municipal court can grant occupational driving privileges and/or terminate the suspension before its ending date.
